Rear Window Camera
The Nextbase Rear Window Camera offers all-round protection to guard against everything from tailgaters and rear end impacts, to knocks and bumps in a car park. It uses a 140° ultra-wide viewing angle to capture the whole road behind, including the pavements on both sides. The Rear Window Camera can easily be fitted to your front facing Nextbase Dash Cam via a 6 m long cable, which can easily be hidden under the roof lining out of view. Compatible with Nextbase 322GW, 422GW and 522GW models.

All the rear-facing modules are compatible with Nextbase 322GW, 422GW and 522GW models.
How is the footage from the rear-facing module stored?
The footage is stored on the SD card in the front-facing dash cam. For example, the 32 GB microSD card records approx 4 hours of Dash Cam footage, or 2 hours if using a rear camera module. 64 GB records approx. 8 hours, or 4 hours with rear module. 128 GB records 16 hours, or 8 with rear module.
How do I install the Rear Window Camera?
It comes with a 6 metre long cable that can either connect into the Dash Cam itself, or can plug directly into the Click&Go PRO mount. The cable can be easily hidden under the roof lining out of view and out of the way.
What resolution is the Rear Window Camera?
When you are using a rear-view camera module the resolution of your front camera will automatically adjust to manage the two high resolution video files. The options for these settings are:
422&522GW: Front/Rear - 1080p/1080p OR Front/Rear 1440p/720p
322GW: Front/Rear 1080p/720p

Which Rear Camera Module is best for me?
The Rear Window Camera is slightly more difficult to install as it does have a cable that runs through the car and connects to the Dash Cam. However, it is the best rear-facing camera at capturing what happens directly behind you vehicle with an impressive 140o Viewing Angle.
The Rear View Camera is easy to install and very discreet. It focuses on the road behind less than the RWC but more than the CVC.
The Cabin View Camera is easy to install and very discreet. It is designed for those who want to capture what is happening in the back seats of the car as well as out the back and side windows.
