Sales and delivery terms

1. General

These sales and delivery terms apply to consumer and business purchases of goods and digital services on compumail.dk. The site is owned and operated by:

Prices
All prices are stated including VAT and apply only in Denmark. We reserve the right to correct printing errors, price changes without notice, sold-out items, currency changes and force majeure.

Conclusion of a binding purchase agreement
When you have placed your order, you will receive an order receipt from us confirming that we have received your order. As stated at checkout, a binding purchase agreement has not been concluded until you receive an order confirmation from us, and we reserve the right to cancel your order in the event of price increases, currency changes, force majeure, delivery failure, tax changes, sold-out items and printing errors etc.

2. Payment

Payment cards
We offer the following payment options:

  • Dankort
  • VISA
  • MasterCard
  • MobilePay
  • Mastercard/VISA Debit

Payments with private payment cards issued in the EU, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland are free of charge. Fees are charged for card types issued outside the EU, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland, and this will only be disclosed when the card number is entered. This also applies to payments via MobilePay.

When paying by payment card, we reserve the amount on the card at the time of order. The money is not charged to your account until the goods are dispatched.

Credit
We do not offer purchases on credit, but refer to our business department, which can be found at www.dcs.dk.

3. Delivery

Delivery with shipping companies
COMPUMAIL.DK ApS offers delivery to addresses in Denmark (mainland Denmark, bridge-connected islands and Bornholm) with the following shipping companies:

  • PostNord
  • GLS

We do not offer delivery to Greenland or the Faroe Islands. 

Available delivery methods and expected delivery time are shown when ordering each individual item. The delivery methods and prices offered therefore vary from product to product, as factors such as weight and product dimensions determine the delivery options. 

If you have selected delivery to a parcel shop where there is no available capacity, the shipping company will redirect your order to a nearby parcel shop, and you will be notified directly by the shipping company by e-mail and/or SMS.

Collection
We offer Click&Collect at our goods collection point at Høgemosevænget 1, 8380 Trige. If you choose Click&Collect, you will receive an e-mail and/or SMS when your order is ready for collection.

Our goods collection point is open 9:00 – 18:00 on weekdays and 10:00 – 13:00 on Saturdays (excluding public holidays).

An order for collection will be deleted if it has not been collected no later than 3 weekdays after the order has been approved for collection and the customer has received an e-mail and/or SMS about this.

Lost or damaged goods and packing errors
If there are discrepancies between what you ordered and what you received, you must contact us on 70 25 22 50, [email protected] or via our chat function no later than 48 hours after receiving the order.

If you have received a shipment from us with visible damage, you must notify us as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receipt on 70 25 22 50, [email protected] or via our chat function.

In the case of hidden damage, you must notify us as soon as possible and no later than 5 days after receipt on 70 25 22 50, [email protected] or via our chat function.

If your shipment is lost, you must contact us on 70 25 22 50, [email protected] or via our chat function.

4. Business purchases

If you specify the order type as a business customer, provide a CVR number on your order or enter the invoice address as a business address, you are considered a business customer.

The following special terms apply to business customers:

  • No right of withdrawal
  • 12-month right of complaint
  • Shipping in connection with complaint cases is at your own expense.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when shopping with COMPUMAIL.DK ApS, as covered by the Danish Consumer Contracts Act.

The withdrawal period runs from the day you received the item. If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, the deadline is extended to the following weekday.

If you wish to use your right of withdrawal, you do so by completing a withdrawal form here. If the link is temporarily unavailable, you can complete a standard withdrawal form and send it by e-mail to [email protected]. You will find the form at the bottom of the terms of trade (Appendix 1).

Refusal to receive the item
You cannot exercise your right of withdrawal by refusing to receive the item without also notifying us. If you do so, you will be charged a fee of DKK 50 including VAT (equivalent to a return label), which will be deducted from the refund you receive from us after the return case has been processed.

Withdrawal from part of the purchase
If you have purchased several items from us on the same order, you have the option to return one or more items to us. However, this does not include bundles consisting of several items.

If you withdraw from part of the purchase, delivery costs will not be refunded.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The following are not covered by the right of withdrawal:

  • Goods that have been adapted and produced according to your wishes or have been given a clear personal character, such as specially configured products
  • Goods that must be assumed to deteriorate or become outdated quickly
  • Sealed goods which, for health protection or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return and where the seal has been broken after delivery. This includes, among other things, care and hygiene products. For these goods, the right of withdrawal only applies if the original packaging is unbroken.
  • Business purchases (see section 4)
  • Sealed goods, including software
  • Digital licences (ESD) delivered by e-mail.

Returns
We expect you to dispatch the goods as soon as possible after you have notified us of your withdrawal, and they must be received by us no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

Return shipping
You must pay for the return shipping yourself, and you decide whether or not you purchase a return label from us when creating the return case (DKK 50 including VAT).

If you use this option, we are liable if damage occurs or the parcel is lost during transport. If you do not use this option, you are liable if damage occurs or the parcel is lost during transport.

The parcel must be sent with delivery to our address, and we recommend PostNord. Parcels delivered to a parcel shop or incorrect address will not be collected.

Some goods cannot be returned by normal parcel post. This applies to parcels over 20 kg. If the parcel weighs more than 20 kg, we recommend that you use PostNord Groupage through us.

Return parcels must be sent to or handed in at our goods collection point at the following address:

Clearly mark the shipping label with "RETURN" and your order number. NOTE: do not write directly on the original packaging. If you hand in the order at our goods collection point, a copy of the original invoice must be enclosed, clearly marked with ”RETURN”.

Condition of the item when returned and packaging
If the item has lost value and this is due to your use of it in a way other than what was necessary to determine the nature, properties or functioning of the item, you can only receive part of the purchase amount back. The amount you can receive back depends on the discretionary assessment made by COMPUMAIL.DK ApS based on an assessment of the item’s commercial value.

This may include:

  • Installation of the item
  • Removal of protective film or plastic
  • Broken seal
  • Signs of use.

We recommend that you keep the original packaging until you are sure that you want to keep the item. Likewise, all accessories such as manuals, cables, drivers etc. must be included and returned in substantially the same condition and quantity.

All goods returned to COMPUMAIL.DK ApS must be securely packaged. Damage resulting from inadequate packaging means that the right of withdrawal lapses, as the item has not been returned in substantially the same condition. Goods delivered in anti-static packaging must likewise be returned in the same type of anti-static material as when received. If this is not done, the item may be damaged and the right of withdrawal will lapse.

If the original packaging is missing, this may result in a reduction in the value of the item, as the item may be damaged during transport, for which you are liable. 

Refund in the event of withdrawal
When you withdraw from the purchase, we refund all payments received from you, including any delivery costs. If the item has decreased in value, or if you have ordered a return label from us, we deduct the amount for which you are liable.

If you have purchased several items in one order and only withdraw from part of your purchase, we do not refund the delivery costs.

We refund all payments received from you in connection with the purchase (however, this does not include additional costs if you have chosen a delivery method that is more expensive than the cheapest delivery method we offered in connection with the order) without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we received your notice of withdrawal.

We automatically refund the amount to the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed. When returning goods at our goods collection point, no cash refund is made in the event of withdrawal.

6. Right of complaint

When you shop with us as a consumer, your purchase is covered by the Danish Sale of Goods Act rules on purchases of goods. This means that you have a 24-month right of complaint, of which the first 6 months are covered by the presumption rule. If you have made a business purchase (see section 4 of our sales and trading terms), you have a 12-month right of complaint. Please note that some goods may have a warranty beyond the 24-month right of complaint. In such cases, the extended warranty is handled directly with the manufacturer.

If you wish to complain about your item under the right of complaint, you must create a complaint case before sending the item to us. You create a complaint case here. If your complaint is justified, this means that you may either have the item repaired, replaced, refunded or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation.

When you discover faults or defects in an item, you must submit your complaint within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. If you complain within two months after the fault has been discovered, the complaint will always be considered timely.

In certain cases, complaints are handled in cooperation with the manufacturer/service partner (free of charge in the case of a justified complaint). In such cases, we recommend that the item is sent directly to the manufacturer/service partner for faster processing. When this is the case, it will be stated on our website when creating the complaint case.
NOTE: When complaint cases are handled by a manufacturer/service partner, the terms of the relevant partner will apply at all times. In the event of an unjustified complaint, you may be charged handling and service costs by both parties.

Please note that any labels, warranty marks etc. must under no circumstances be removed from the item itself. In such cases, the right of complaint may lapse.

We also refer to section 78 of the Danish Sale of Goods Act regarding the procedure for complaints.

8. Complaints

If we cannot agree on what you are entitled to, you have the following complaint options:
A complaint about a product or service can be submitted to the Centre for Complaint Resolution, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg.

You can submit a complaint to the Centre for Complaint Resolution via the complaints portal of Nævnenes Hus: kpo.naevneneshus.dk.

9. PriceRunner purchase guarantee

Your purchase with us is covered free of charge by the PriceRunner Purchase Guarantee. It covers you for up to DKK 50,000 if a problem occurs in connection with your purchase. To be covered by the Purchase Guarantee, you simply need to be a registered PriceRunner member.
